DDSPB18 Multiplayer League (EBL)

The Elite Basketball League is just kicking off our first offseason, and we are looking for GMs for some of our great teams. The EBL is a 16 team league that is dedicated to a good culture, and a fun league for all. We just concluded the first amateur draft, where Dante Exum and Jahlil Okafor were the top two picks. We create all of our rookie classes, so that our league can be unique, and that we don't ever have to face having fake players in the league. We do not have any media requirements, but we do encourage teams to be active and GMs are free to write articles if they want.

The following teams are open for our GMs:

Oklahoma City Thunder
OKC was one of the top teams in the league this past year, led by Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Rajon Rondo. However, all three of them are free agents, making this offseason a very interesting one for OKC. They still have the potential to be a dynasty as long as they can keep the team intact.

New Orleans Pelicans
Another one of the top teams, the Pelicans nearly made it to the Finals this past season, led by Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis. Jrue Holiday was also a key member of the team, but he is a free agent this year. The Pelicans are young and hungry, and are already contenders.

Sacramento Kings
The Kings are at the complete opposite end of the spectrum, coming in as the worst team this past year. They aren't hopeless though, as they have a post duo of Kevin Love and DeMarcus Cousins, and just added a top point guard prospect in Elfrid Payton, who should be ready to play right away. They have all their draft picks moving forward so they could definitely be a rebuilding team, but there's also enough of a nucleus to create a winner right away too.

San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs are a storied franchise and made the Conference Finals this past season, like they have in so many past seasons. They were led by Kawhi and the ageless Tim Duncan, and they also have a very exciting future with Jimmy Butler and Brandon Knight in the backcourt. They'll need to address their frontcourt issues, but the Spurs could be quite the team to take over.

Washington Wizards
The Wizards had a rough year like the Kings, but they are also a very intriguing young team. Obviously led by a talented backcourt in John Wall and Bradley Beal, they also have the Greek Freak who just finished his rookie season. He's not a superstar yet, but he's got that kind of potential and showed a lot of growth in his first season. Paul Millsap joined them at PF and they just drafted their eventual Gortat replacement in Boban Marjanovic.
