Roster Comparison in Pre-Game Scouting Report

This might be a dumb question, but this is my first time playing this series. When I look at the pre-game scouting report in my e-mail, it compares the opposing team to my team - but it is comparing the WRONG players! I have set my starting line-up, or at least I THINK I have in the Depth Chart area. But, my starting line up is not who is being compared in the scouting report. Can someone help me understand what I'm doing wrong?

Go to Rotation and click on the 2nd column. It should reflect your choices from the depth chart, and that should work. You can then, if you like, change the minutes under "Set by Minutes' but if you're playing out the game there's really no point.

Follow Wayne's advice.

Because, you absolutely need the players you want to start the game listed in the 20:00-18:00 for 1st Half(a). If you're never going to sim a game your team will play the rest of the rotational minutes don't matter, UNLESS you get tossed out of the game for a 2nd technical. If you're going to sim all or some of your team's games, then you want to set up the rotation for both halves and OT so that you have the players on the court when you want them and players getting about the number of minutes/game that you want them to play.

Thanks for the help, guys! I did as you instructed, and set up the rotation. However, the 5 guys from my team that are listing in the 20:00-18:00 are NOT the ones that are showing up in my e-mail pre-game scouting report. It doesn't make any sense to me.....

The scouting report is done at a certain point in time ahead of the next game so it will take into account whoever was set to start at that time
