Dynamic Ratings Question

When using dynamic ratings, should I pay attention to the blue balls provided by my scout as a way to gauge how skilled and talented my players are or should I disregard it and find out by playing out games and looking deep into stats?

I believe the balls give you a quick indication of how good a player is or how good he may be, so I wouldn't advise disregarding them.

There can be error in the assessments that led to those ratings though....or a player with good skills may not put them to use in a game as well as a player with lesser skills who is very competitive.

So if a player's in-game results differ from the skill and ball ratings that are shown, the RESULTS become the more significant factor.
