If human coach firing is disabled, do I get an automatic contract extension when the initial 3 years run out?

They want me to win the conf tournament and finish over .500 and not even the later is a sure bet to happen.

I've never played with coach firing disabled, but assume that since you can't be fired, you will continue to get extensions as long as you wish to stay at a school no matter how your team performs.
