Does Bloomington's MODs work with this version? Currently about to rock the Beta and wanted to give these a try but wanted to ask first.

Game is going to be sick!!!

I installed bloomington's Real World LIGHT mod and it's been working fine for me with no error messages. The new ratings progression tracking within CB2018 has been working for both players and coaches, as designed. The LIGHT mod contains correct team names, nicknames and logos and correct conference names and logos plus the actual courts for teams and tournaments. Get it here: viewtopic.php?f=250&t=26597

Also I've transferred several associations created within CB2017 to CB2018 without any problems.

Thanks for the feed back. I'll give the light version a try.

Hello PG...I don't think that linked version could work. If you look at the date of the default.dat file, it is from last year (3/1/17). Plus, opening up the default.dat file from that link, the new tables aren't included.

Are you potentially using the LIGHT version I modified and provided during BETA testing? That would have worked with the new version. However, I just did the minor update to get it to work, but doesn't contain all the bells and whistle updates Bloomington does.

Your modified mod is the one I'm using, and it works. I'm guessing it's what PG is using as well.

slybelle1, you should post it here.

I only made very basic changes to it such as including the new tables and updated names tables. Did not change any of the team data such so anything different from the 2017 season to 2018 season (conferences and such) would not be included in it. Plus, since this is all made possible by the hard work of Bloomington, hate to release his mod, I am sure he would like to do as usual.

So is it safe to say me using the MODs from the 2017 mod forum is not going to work since it sounds like i don't have the updated/changed version you guys are talking about?

Correct...only way you can play with the MODS if you have an updated 2018 version which contains the new tables and uses the latest default.dat file from the 2018 game.

I'll try and update the default.dat file later today using Bloomington's old MOD as the base (unless Bloomington shows up today).
