Sounds like you're doing great. When I coach games I don;t let energy get below about 85. That's probably overkill, but it helps. I sub OFTEN so my best guys have high energy at the end of the game, and i save my time outs for the end when I can, because, as you know, a TO increases the players' energy ratings.
