Impact of Assistant Coaches

Impact of Assistant Coaches

Postby Double Dribble » Fri Mar 16, 2018 3:00 pm

If your recruiting coach is poor at player development how much of an impact does that have? if your practice coach cant recruit does that somehow affect recruiting? I guess what im asking is how intertwined or compartmentalized are the ratings?

Also what attribute might you value less than the others and what is the lowest number youd be willing to accept?

thanks in advance for the help :)

Pretty darned tough to assess your initial questions. Don't know, or really want to know, the interworkings of the game's coding.

With respect to which attributes are most important when hiring assistants, it all depends on where you're coaching. If you're coaching at a top level, high prestige, HIGH BUDGET program, then you can afford to hire the best and get assistants with good ratings across the board with top ratings in the skill for which they will be the focus of their coaching. If you're at a LOW BUDGET program, you're happy if you can hire an assistant with decent ratings in the one attribute that applies to the position he will fill.

And when hiring coaches remember to save at least $30,000 for recruiting. I never save less than $40,000, if at all possible.
