I may be missing something obvious but I think I have seen others mention having their team play exhibition games as part of the schedule. I have never seen an option to add these games and I was wondering if I was misunderstanding those comments or missing a feature within the scheduling aspect of the game.

When you go to the start screen one of the options is "exhibition game." Many of us play two of those just before the season starts, say on 11/6 or so. The stats do not save, so you'll need to find your own way to keep track of them, but these two games have been known to change my opening day starting lineup, or at least the minutes that I give to certain players.

That's the NCAA rule, I believe.

I have never heard of that rule. I know the 2k games did not limit redshirts annually. They only limited the total number of scholarships available.
