Recruiting question

When I am recruiting a player that still has high interest, but hes already made a verbal commitment to another school, can I still offer him that scholarship and keep recruiting him in Hope's he changes his mind to my school? Or is is pretty much a done deal when he made a verbal decision its over?

Consider it a done deal and move on. I think the only time you'd have a chance of getting him is if he didn't meet the other school's SAT minimum (announced each year on Jan. 28) and thus have the scholarship withdrawn by that school. Then if his SAT score was above your school's minimum, you could again go after him.
