I am coaching a very low prestige school, is there any benefit to schedule an away game against a power house team, where we will be cannon fodder? Do we make a few $$$ or pity to get drubbed? Thanks for any comments

There are no financial aspects for either home or away games. No admission, food, parking, or team apparel sales.
Your RPI may improve some even by losing by a rather large margin due to playing an away game which is against a powerhouse team.

No money, we are staying home. We will keep our pride by playing some high school teams, a win is a win after all. LOL. Thank You for the info, maybe someday a pay day can be included in the game for getting spanked by a top tier team. Just a idea of course.

I have two issues with scheduling that have irked me since my first season.
If ask for "Home softies" I get 2 home games and 5-7 road games (tournaments sometimes).
If I click to change my opponent, I can NEVER substitute a home game for a road game, even when the venue column
CLEARLY says "HOME". I think HOME and ROAD have been switched somehow. I want MY home games, not THEIR home games.
I also think a great feature for the future would be to schedule home and home games, so next season is taken care of.

Strange schedule blip. I played two games vs. Georgia St and both were at home for me.

...and followed that double home scheduling with an NIT bid against fellow Sunbelt team, Coastal Carolina--the fourth meeting of the season!

This season has both Georgia State games on the road. In addition, I played Drake and UMKC in the Maui tourney, only to see them pop up later in the regular season.
