Just wanna ask how to open and edit the .dat files, for creating mods. I don't have MS Access, but there was a post here viewtopic.php?f=273&t=28700 that says you can open them with free alternatives, but the links are missing. Can I ask what those programs were?

One that has worked in the past is MDB Viewer Plus. Do a google search and you'll see a variety of places where you can download it.

Ok thanks again pointguard, got it to work and open the default.dat, but some of its entries and the other files are asking for a valid password.
