Advice on extensions?

Every time I try to extend a player in the last year of their contract they vehemently turn down the offer even if I go by their "Player Wishes" contract offer, any advice on how to get them to actually agree with my offer?

the player wishes are the absolute minimum they will even talk about. You usually need to bump it up some from there.

tried giving a backup WR on last year of contract the maximum allowable salary (around 9,980,000/yr) + all the bonuses, same response



offered the same thing to my rookie punter, same message

I'm seeing the same thing and it's making it difficult to keep a roster together from season to season. Its a frustrating aspect in what is otherwise an impressive game.

What is the timescale for the fix to be implemented?

This bug is a bit of a game killer to be honest. The fix was identified nearly two weeks ago. Will it be fixed soon?

we just re-upped the update to steam (somehow it didnt go through when we did it a couple of days ago).

Game should update to 3.0.1 next time you run it. Hopefully that will solve the issue.

still not fixed in 3.0.1. used player wishes as the base offer, increased the wage to x3 from the default of the player wishes and still get the "did not respond well to your offer" response. As called out above, this is a game killer - no point putting a team together for all to leave in FA.
