In the earlier versions of Draft Day Sports: Pro Football,and its predecessor (PFS = Professional Football Simulator), it was this way, one player was preset. Since DDSPF 2017 this is not the case anymore.
This issue has already been reported and the people in charge have said they noted our reports on this.
Done is nothing. Very sad!
