Game suddenly crashes when loading career...

Hi guys so I wento to play some more of my career today and get this error as it trys to load.

"An unhandled exception occurred: Unrecognized database format
C:\user\....Kevin_james.coa

The game will now exit"

Pretty disappointed as I have put some time into this, is this a common occurrence? The one thing text sims need to get right is, well they cant crash and kill years of work.

Any ideas? Is this recoverable?
