Edit player stats?

I was wondering if there is any way in-game or via mod to edit historical player stats? I've done some searches and found a few threads I thought might be applicable (for example, the CSV/JSON Converter thread) but I don't believe that is the solution.

If it's not possible to edit an existing player, is there any way to create/import a new player with statistical history?
