I'm new to the game and don't know much about it yet. Can anyone tell me where I can find the OPTIONS menu (is this the league options ingame? Have looked there, but found nothing), to then select ASSIGN PLAYERS PHOTO=By Player ID.

did you manage to resolve this ? I'm running 2021 and also can't find the ASSIGN PLAYERS PHOTO option.

The newer versions of DDSPF/CF don't require you to change this setting. It automatically checks by name and by id so you can use either.
