2022 Pro Football Realworld Mod

2022 Pro Football Realworld Mod

Postby slybelle1 » Fri Sep 10, 2021 10:02 pm

Hello,

I have updated last year's mod that I created (with great contributions from other people) to work with the 2022 version of the game. Feel free to download if your interested.

DISCLAIMER
The installer and materials contained within the Real World Mod are provided "as is" and the user assumes all risk of downloading, installing, and using the mod. It is possible that your security software may report a possible risk with the file(s) as each software has it's own methods of identifying threats. A number of security software products are proactive in flagging relatively unknown files (such as mods) or installers as a risk in order to be extremely cautious as they should be. Since the file(s) get posted on the internet and on file hosting sites, I can't control and don't assume responsibility for what might happen to the file(s) and whether an actual threat gets attached. It's each person's responsibility to download, install, and use the mod.

League Format Supported:

- This will work with "Modern-32 Team, 17 Games", "Modern-32 Team, 16 Games", and "Custom 32 Teams - 16 Games" league configurations.

What's Included:

- Team Logos (slybelle)
- Small Logos (slybelle)
- Large Logos (slybelle)
- Midfield Logo (slybelle)
- Stadium Names (slybelle)
- Weather Models (slybelle)
- Dome Designation (slybelle)
- Conference/League Logos
- Endzone Art (damoore46) - This is largely the same as last year, I did update both Los Angeles teams and Washington
- Jersey Art (gbmoore)
- Real Team Names (slybelle)
- 2021 NFL Real Schedule (only regular season games)

** I did update helmet for Washington

In order to install, follow these instructions.

1) Download the zip file.

2) Unzip to a temp folder

3) Run the EXE file and extract (defaults to your documents folder. If your document folder resides on something other than C:\, make sure to change the drive letter during file extraction)

Some of the most common places for the documents folder includes:

C:\Users\<<user name>>\Documents\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF 2022
D:\Users\<<user name>>\Documents\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF 2022
C:\Users\<<user name>>\OneDrive\Documents\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF 2022 (if your using OneDrive to store your documents)
etc.

4) Create a new league (only will take effect on new leagues) - This will work with "Modern-32 Team, 17 Games", "Modern-32 Team, 16 Games", and "Custom 32 Teams - 16 Games" league configurations.

Using the 2021 NFL Schedule

1) On the League creation screen, go to the select schedule button.

2) Navigate to the documents folder for the game \Documents\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF 2022

3) Select the file "2021_NFL_Schedule.csv"

4) After your new league is created, your schedule should be set for the regular season (pre season does not get setup as real)

Haven't had any other reports of not working so either you have missed a step in the instructions or your not installing into the correct folder where your documents folder resides such as on one drive or possibly d:

I suspect your actual documents folder is on one drive or another drive letter.

- Open File Explorer
- Right Click on the Documents folder, choose Properties
- Choose the Location tab

If your still having issues with the mod, below is a link to a program that will help confirm your true location of your documents folder.

Download
https://mega.nz/file/nBA1XAAA#Ab9cwxorm ... p0SlJhREKM

Instructions
1) Download the file, unzip the contents into a folder.
2) Run the DocumentFolderFinder.exe file
3) You'll see a screen like shown below.

If you look in the Wolverine Studios Document Folder - Sub Folders section of the screen and don't see "DDSPF 2022" listed, then you are not extracting the mod in the correct location. If that is the case, you would want to use the value shown in the Wolverine Studios Document Folder Location section to use during the mod installation process. Also, if there are no files or folders in the sub folder, that is also a clue that something didn't install correctly.

Using this screen as an example, it would be d:\users\savoi\documents\wolverine studios and then combine with the pro football 2022 folder name of DDSPF 2022. The full name in this example would be d:\users\savoi\documents\wolverine studios\DDSPF2022. You would take that full name and put in the path during the installation of the mod.

Common places for this folder would be:
C:\Users\savoi\Documents\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF 2022
D:\Users\savoi\Documents\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF 2022
C:\Users\savoi\OneDrive\Documents\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF 2022 (if your using OneDrive to store your documents)
etc.

As an example, although I have c:\ location of documents on my system, I actually instructed Windows to use my d: drive for storing document folders. So when I install the mod, I need to use D:\Users\my name\Documents\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF 2022.

Make sure following instructions from first post. And if still having issues, use the troubleshooter and run that, it should give you clues. Likely a documents folder location being wrong (drive, one drive, etc)
