Teammates Morale Rating

Teammates Morale Rating

I have played the 2018 version as well but I ha e always struggled at learning how to improve your players teammates level. I get a lot of emails about players arguing or fighting and then their teammates morale level goes down and I have yet to figure out a way to improve it.

Winning games is the only morale improvement thing that I have found. If one of the guys involved is a walk-on, cut him immediately. If they don't like 'staff' there is nothing you can do and he will likely transfer, so be prepared for that.

Also read the emails a react with a phone call accordingly. If the email says they got into it over practicing hard (made him look bad) I let that go, I want competition in practice. If one of those "making fun of his girlfriend" or something like that I make a disciplinary phone call. First time I handle it "gently" but keep track if its the same guys and ramp up the second time. I've had guys morale go up at the end of the call. Sometimes it goes down. But handle it according to how you put your coach Discipline Rating in as coach as that is how the players "see" you when they choose your school. If you don't do anything you lose control of the team over time.
And as Your_Imaginary_Friend said, winning is everything.
