And yes, prestige and facilities have a ton do to with it - you're getting an instant reaction from the player on his visit. If you were 18 and used to practicing in your average high school gym and weight room and then showed up to campus and saw what looked like a palace with a fancy locker room, TVs everywhere, state of the art workout equipment...things you've never even seen before and pictured yourself playing for one of the most prestigious universities and the TV time and exposure that comes with that...it would be pretty understandable that the visit would be enjoyable especially if your recruiting coach is strong in his recruiting skills and can paint the picture of what life will be like there to the recruit. At the same time if you do happen to see that and then go to a Maine which I'm sure is an upgrade over your average high school it wouldn't look quite so glamorous and may not elicit such a great reaction.
