Bug? Rebounding Keeps Reverting to 1

When playing out my games, i notice that in some cases. my defensive rebounding reverts to "1" after I try setting it to say "8" or "9". Am I doing something wrong, misunderstanding something, or is this a possible bug? Basically, I click on the defense button in game and then change it to "8" and then click back to the stats button. When I got to check my defense, it has automatically switched back to "1" again.
