Two issues I have right now...

1. How do I get out of Full Screen mode?

2. I can't get the game to initialize past the first save. I create the coach and then advance and it won't go past "Saving Association". Did I need to get a patch for this? Or should I reinstall? I've gone through a couple of times and tried to quick launch and tried to go through the full thing. I let it sit for like a half hour to try and get through that save too... nothing going.

Go to Options. On the lower right you can change to Windowed Mode.

Is that once the game loads? I haven't been able to actually get the game to load back the initial setup.

Ah, yes it is. I would suggest going to Support and asking for help there.

I've never had that problem. So yeah, think it's best you contact Gary directly by going to wolverinestudios.com and clicking on SUPPORT in the Quick Links toward the bottom of the page and then click on NEW SUPPORT TICKET and enter and submit your info.
