Is Work Ethic Static or Improvable

Wondering about folks' experience with work ethic? I've got a player I'm ready to cut because his work ethic is so low. Are there any strategies to deploy to improve a player's work ethic?

No. It's a static rating, as all the intangibles are except for Discipline and Basketball IQ.
