Does it have any impact (besides how much you pay) as to what you hire your assistant coaches as? For example, I have a potential assistant coach who is a 85 at recruiting and I would like to hire him as my recruiting coach. I have all three spots available (1st, 2nd, 3rd). However, his salary demands are much lower at 3rd than at 1st. If I hire him as my 3rd assistant, will it make any difference compared to if I hired him as my 1st assistant? I am wondering because if it doesn't make a difference, then I would think you would want to slot your hires in such a way as to lower your overall staff costs. Does anyone know if where you slot your coaches has any impact on their performance or an outcome?

He very likely won't accept your offer for anything less than #1 assistant and he may not accept that. The higher the rating the higher level they want to be hired at.

If you do hire him, I don't think his performance will be different if hired as 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
