Question about Transfers

Question about Transfers

Postby JDB » Tue Jan 01, 2019 1:22 pm

I'm definitely happy to see that this has been added. My question is at what stage of the game will this be happening? So when bringing my association from DDSCF18 over to 19 having just finished the 2018 season, at what game stage should I be on in order for my players to have a chance to transfer prior to the 2019 season?

Transfers are calculated at the end of the season stage (at the same time early entries to the draft declare)

My other question about this is what rules does the game follow? Is it the same as the NCAA is now? Can anyone transfer or just the upper class men? Are they limited to one time? Are they eligible to play right away? Any restrictions regarding transferring within the same conference?

No restrictions... just a small chance that if a player is behind other good players and never sees the field, and they are young enough, they may transfer. I think right now it's just year 2/3 players. It's possible we could add more logic into a patch. They are unavailable to play for the year that they sign with the new team (they'll not be available on depth charts) but they are available for training, etc.
