Online Upload Not Working

Online Upload Not Working

Postby osunuts35 » Mon Apr 08, 2019 12:33 pm

Hi guys, I just got the game yesterday and a friend gave me some of his FTP server space to run an online league through. When I click "Publish/Upload", it says it's successful and I see the "Exports" folder created on the FTP server, but there's no .bin file. Can someone point me in the right direction as to what I'm doing wrong?

VPN, Firewall and virus software are the usual suspects. So try adding exceptions or temporarily disable them. Also make sure to save the game before uploading, so it generates an updated file.

(of course make sure your privileges on the FTP are adequate and you internet doesnt disconnect during upload)

If I'm adding an exception to my firewall, is it of the FTP server IP address, or the FTP port number?

It looks like that exception already exists. Not sure what else it could be that's stopping the upload. It's not a huge issue because I can just copy the local .bin file to the FTP server, but it would be nice to take out that step if possible.

realtime virusscan is the most common issue, maybe try an exception there.

Feel free to jump on the slack channel and share your .bin and url. We can take a look and see. You should see several files and lots of folders being created on the web server, not just exports.
