UMES Hawks 3-6 @ Robert Morris Colonials 5-4 Dec 27, 2019

The Colonials put an end to our win streak. We managed to led at halftime 42-38, but they took over in the second half and went on to a 95-79 win. The key here was rebounds. They outrebounded us 33-18.

Kevin Brittian, our PG led all scorers with 23 pts with 7 of 12 on 3pts. He also has 7 asts and 2 blks.

One more non conference game left against Troy at home.

Troy Trojans 5-5 @ UMES Hawks 3-7 Jan 3, 2020
A fairly tight game. We led 39-33 at hslf and went on to win 78-68. 3 pt shooting was the difference. They hit 7-20 while we hit 15-34. Kevin Brittian was our player of the game. He had 17 points 5 asts 3 rebs and 1 blk.

So going into conference play we are 4-7

UMES Hawks 5-8 1-1 @ Grambling Tigers 10-3 2-9 Jan 17, 2020
it wasnt pretty. Grambling dominated us in this one. They led 30-23 at half and won 74-53. They held us to 31% shooting. The Tigers had 42 rebs to our 27.

Clarence Roberts, their Freshman center scored 16 with 12 rebs. Our high scorer was Murray Mclean, back up point guard with 10 pts. I am very disappointed in the play of our center Lamont Butler in this one. He shot 0-9. Normally he shoots over 50%
