3/10: They come out stroing and take a 13 point lead in no time. 32-43 at the half. I raise the roof at halftime and we come out tgaking charge. We take our first lead with 13:27 left. Up 9 with 10 to play.

81-72. A great comeback win. 15, 4, 3 for Curry, 14, 4, 3 for Robb. We won it inside, +8 RBs, +8 in the paint.

It's #2 seed, #11 ranked Maryland, 24-5, 14-2, in the semis. They won by 16 at their place so this won't be easy. They're particularly tough at SG and PF.

79-65. Wes were never threatened, surprisingly. 29, 9 for Curry. Solid D.

#8 seed Minnesota, 20-12, 7-9, beat the #4 then the #1 seed to get here. We won by 25 at our place. This is a team we should beat.

3/12: We start fast and build a 17 point lead. 37-26 at halftime.2 and 4 for Curry. They're preventing it becoming a blowout but not really getting close.

91-70. We scored the last 11. 17, 6 for Conf. C tourney MOP Ian Curry. 20 for Holt, 14, 5, 3 for Robb. We shot 60.7%.+24 in the paint.
Hoping for a #3 or even a #2 seed. Ranked #15 but #8 NET.

3/17: They're staying with us. Up 1 after 10. 34-44 at the half. I am NOT happy and my guys are about to hear about it! Curry and Beno have 3 fouls each, which is a major factor. Poor D is another. We come out flat in the second and are quickly down 16. I call my 3rd time out but noithing changes. I then go to a full court press on every possession. Nothing changes.

70-85. A HUGE upset and our season is over.

We are losing 4 starters and a sub.

4/3: #7 Kentucky is the national champ.

4/4: Awards: Ian Curry makes Conf. C 1st team. I get the coaching award.

4/9: National champ Kentucky's coach retired and they want me. Not going anywhere.

4/16: MGM studios open.

4/23: I ask for $.

No.

27-4, 14-2, Conf. C champ. Awful 1st round defeat in the big dance. Overall, 23 years, I'm 660-102, .866, the highest win pct. in NCAA history.

5/1: #31 Recruiting class. We're in Conf. B.
5/10: The most evil "public servant" in U. S. history is named Director of the FBI.

5/21: College students Leopold and Loeb murder a 14 year old boy in a "thrill killing."

5/26: The Asian Exclusion Act bans all Asian immigration.

5/29: Junior guard Jay Newn leaves. He would have played and might have started. We're looking for a guards.

6/2: Pres. Coolidge signs the Indian Citizenship Act which grants citizenship to all native Americans born in this country.

6/5: We get a PG from FL ST who will likely start.

6/23: First flight from New York to San Francisco takes 21 hrs., 48 minutes.

6/25: We're going to the East Coast Jam.

6/26: We need a big and a guard.

7/7: The Democrats nominate John Davis for POTUS after 103 ballots.

It has been a very hot summer so far. I have a window fan in the bedroom and in my office, but they don't help much.

7/31: We're chasing 6 players seriously and 2 very seriously. Some positive signs with both.

I'm hearing about something called "air conditioning." It is supposed to actually cool rooms and even whole buildings. It is VERY expensive and not in wide usage yet. I'd like to experience it. I'm tired of sweating.

8/21: I offer to a PG and an SF. The SF is a stretch but he's in state and at least somewhat interested. Fingers crossed. The PG is a better bet though.

9/18: We lose the PG.

Going to Hoops tourney in Dec. Competitive schedule.

9/25: Got an SF, #29(!), and a PG, #83. We should be through with recruiting!

Ellis Island closes.

The Wrigley Building is completed.

10/2: Practice begins. The perennial question is whether we'll be competitive in our new conference, Conf. B.

10/8: Soldier Field in Chicago opens. People mistakenly try to make it plural. It isn't.

10/10: The Washington Senators win the World Series.

11/4: Calvin Coolidge is re-elected.

Nellie Taylor Ross of Wyoming becomes the first female Governor. She succeeds her deceased husband.

11/13: Here's the lineup. Lots of changes from last year's:

Soph Jaan Wats is at PG. He's a transfer from FL ST and we're very high on him.

Senior Kari Houl is at SG and will play some at PG. He's ready!

#3 guard is soph Kirk Wias. He can play. #4 is soph Rob Crow, who wants more minutes. Next is frosh Miel Sawe, who looks good, but he isn't ready. Finally frosh Jule Turr is also not ready.

Senior Rob Holt is back at SF

Soph Aaron Rily is at PF.

Junior Dom Hend is at C. He started for Stanford.

1st big man off the bench is soph Rich Perl, who won't hurt us. Finally comes frosh Brad Will. He needs work on D but the rest of his game is pretty good. We're a little short handed inside.

11/27: 4 wins to start the season. Balanced scoring, solid D, and good rebounding, but WAY too many turnovers.

The first Macy's Thanksgiving parade is held.

12/1: George Gershwin's "Lady Be Good" opens on Broadway.

12/22: 7-1. We lost by 6 at #13 Iowa. It was close most of the way. Foul trouble at the end meant we couldn't play aggressive D and that was the difference.

PF Aaron Rily leads us with 13.4 and 8.0. C C Dom Hend gets 13.4, 7.4. We're getting good bench play.

Still too many TOs, 13.9.

Heading for the Hoops tourney where we're the #5 seed. We play #4 Butler, 7-1.
