3/7: We play #9 seed Davidson, 14-15, 8-10 in the quarters. Beat them by 27 and we’re a huge favorite to do it again.
3/8: 63-39. Our D was amazing! 20, 21 for Robb, 13, 11 for Swye. +12 TOs.
#5 seed VCU, 17-13, 10-8, in the semis. We won by 20 at home. And we’re a big fav.
3/9: 85-65. 22, 13 for Robb, 21, 3, 7 for Dare, 18, 14 for Swye. +21 RBs.
#7 seed ST Bonnie, 16-14, 9-9 for the title. Beat them twice and again we’re a huge fav.
3/10: 81-72 and the title. Close for 35 minutes. We finally woke up. Not our best game. 13, 18 for Swye.
32-1, A 10 champs, #3, RPI #6. Hoping for a #2 seed, or at worst a #3.
3/12: #2 Midwest. We play #15 Ball ST, 16-15. Good bracket!
3/16: 67-51. 23, 15 for Robb, 16,6 for Dare. +14 RBs.
#10 seed New Mexico, 24-7, in the 2nd round.
3/18: 98-81. We were a scoring machine. 28, 5 for Dare, 18, 9 for Robb. +13 RBs.
#3 seed, #12 ranked Temple, 28-6, in the Sweet Sixteen. We’re favored by 4 ½.
3/23: 81-93. We simply did not play D. 3 starters in foul trouble most of the way, and that was a big factor. 22, 11 for Robb, 18, 5 for Dare. 18 TOs.
4/3: #7 Cincinnati is the champ.
4/4: Awards: Junior Bart Robb is A 10 POY, junior Mike Swye is Def. POY. They both make the 1st team along with senior guard Lee Dare. I am national and A 10 COY.
34-2, #3, RPI #5. +15.4 PPG, #8, #16. Not a clue how a team that spends 25% of its time practice Offense winds up #8 in PPG.
After 5 seasons: 34-2, 137-31, .815. +15.4 PPG, #8, #16.
