The boys are really on a roll here at the end of the season. The braves were completely dominated. We led 48-30 at half and went on to a 93-52 win! We outrebounded them 37-28. Our defense did a good job of shuting them down. They were 8 for 34 on 3 pt shooting. I am worried the boys may be over confident now. We face Longwood next

Once again the boys played great def. The only real difference in the game was shooting. They shot about 37% to our 54%.We were pretty much ahead the whole game. Final lancers 69 hawks 80
In the other semifinal Merrimack upset Citadel 73-66.

UMES Hawks vs Merrimack Warriors V Conf Championship Mar 8, 2021
Well I expected us to make a run in conf but I didnt expect to win the tournament. We played some great basketball the last part of the season. Defense was strong again. We led 45-21 at half. Merrimack made a game of it the second half but we win it 77-66. We dominated inside.
The boys are all excited about this and getting to go to the big dance. Can we make it past 1 game? We will see.
We face Florida International in a play in game

Really good game both teams put up a good fight. It could have gone eithe way but in the end we get a 73-70 victory.

NCAA tournament UMES Hawks vs. Syracuse Orange Mar 17, 2021
Syracuse ends our season. We did better than I was expecting in this game. We put up a good fight. The biggest lead they managed was 13 pts. We stayed close most of the game but in the end their defense was just too strong. They win 69-56
