12/26: 82-78 at #22 Ohio ST to open Big Ten play. Close all the way. 18, 4, 9 for Moor, 20, 8 for Rudd. 5 TOs. Rudd hit 2 threes in the last minute and Moor, who missed his first 11 threes, hit one in the last minute as well.

The Big Ten is loaded this year and we play most of the best teams on the road. Could be tough.

12/30: 79-58 over #16 Illinois at Gampel. 21, 2, 7 for Moor, 17, 6 for Rudd. +9 RBs, 11 TOs.

1/2/2242: 95-57 at Iowa. 52-29 at the half. Balanced scoring. +11 RBs, 11 TOs.

1/6: 62-55 at Nebraska. They're a good team, only their 3rd loss. Balanced scoring. 9 TOs.

Our society is running smoothly. No issues. We're encouraging large families as we'd like to increase the population. That will take a lot of time, of course.

1/11: 73-44 over Rutgers at Gampel. 40-17 at thehalf. 25, 12, 5 for Rudd, 14, 8 for Brom. +16 RBs, 8 TOs.

15 left to play. 4 of them are road games vs. Top 12 teams. Tough schedule.

1/13: 81-74 at #3 Michigan ST. Great win! 46-25 at the half and the final was as close as they got. 18, 4, 10 for Moor, 22, 5 for Rudd, 16, 3, 3 for File.

1/18: 84-60 over Ohio ST here.

17-1, 7-0, #1, RPI #1. 3 way tie for 1st, 3 up on 4th.

"Mack Reed, your people are not getting the most out of their lives."

"Oh?"

"They are needlessly limiting their intellectual activity and also their esthetic sense."

"What do you suggest?"

"We suggest a course of study. The Kree can teach you to enhance your intellectual abilities and to deepen your awareness and understanding of beauty in all of its forms."

Sounds interesting.

1/23: 64-55 at #4 Michigan. Another great road win. 18, 5 for Rudd, 13, 12 for Jeng, 10, 12, 6 for Moor. 12 TOs.

"Have you considered my offer, Mack Reed?"

"The Council is considering it. We want more details."

1/27: 85-55 over Nebraska at Gampel. 41-24 at the half. 17, 8 for Rudd, 14, 2, 3 for Moor, 13, 5 for Brom. +15 RBs.

Mel Rudd is #15, Zak Moor #16 on the Norton list.

At #3 Wisconsin next. We're tied for 1st with them.

2/1: 68-76. 1-16 on threes, 33.3% shooting, -7 RBs. They're a very good team.

The schedule is mostly favorable from here on.

The Kree are proposing what amounts to a college degree program in philosophy. Lots of courses and seminars, lots of readings of Kree writings. At the end we would be "enlightened." The Council finds the proposal interesting but they feel it would change everything about the way we live. They are considering offering it to people and letting whoever wants to take it do so, but they want to discuss it further.

2/6: 83-71 at #23 Illinois. They led by 9 early, 6 at the half. 21, 9, 4 for Rudd, 19, 5, 4 for Moor. +9 RBs.

2/8: 76-45 over Penn ST at Gampel.

We're in a 3 way tie for 1st.22, 10 for Rudd, 17, 4 for Moor, 15, 4 for File. +10 RBs, 10 TOs.

2/10: 75-37 over Maryland at the Civic Center. 37-11 at the half. 17, 15 for Jeng, 13, 11, 6 for Rudd, 16, 5 for Moor. +21 RBs, 9 TOs. Maryland has fallen on hard times.

Rudd is #12 on the Norton list and Moor is #20.

2 way tie with Wisconsin for the Big Ten lead.

The Council is very close to opening up the Kree learning program.

2/15: 82-58 at Indiana. 43-28 at the half. 29, 5 for Moor. 4 TOs.

2/17: 87-55 over #8 Michigan ST here. Only up 1 at the half. 50-19 in the 2nd. 29, 6, 7 for Moor (2nd game in a row with 29), 12, 11, 4 for Rudd, 10, 9, 5 for Tayy. +19 RBs, 9 TOs.

The Council has decided that a test group may take the Kree's course on enlightenment and self fulfillment. 100 volunteers are being sought.

2/20: 94-68 over Iowa at Gampel. Easy win. 22, 4 for Rudd, 23 for Moor.

Still tied with Wisconsin, who will be here in a week. 4 to play.

The 100 volunteers have been gathered and they will begin the course on March 1. They will be observed and medically tested regularly throughout the two year duration of the program.

2/24: 73-61 at Rutgers. Up only 1 at the half. 19, 6, 4 for Tayy, 19, 3 for Rudd. +12 RBs.

Wisconsin lost. We're 1 up on them and Michigan. 4 or more on the rest.

2/27: 80-55 over #4 Wisconsin at the Civic Center. Much easier than I expected. 49-26 at the half. 20, 7, 7 for Moor, 24 for Tayy. +10 RBs, 8 TOs.

Michigan is one back with 2 to play.

3/1: 75-52 over Minnesota at Gampel. 45-18 at the half. 16, 13, 4 with 4 blocks for Jeng, 21, 2, 5 for Moor, 11, 10, 4 for Rudd, 10, 10 for Brom. +15 RBs, 11 TOs.

Michigan loses and we clinch 1st place.

The Kree course begins for the 100 volunteers.

3/3: 76-59 at Purdue. 40-26 at the half. 21, 2, 5 for Moor, 19, 11 for Rudd.

29-2, 19-1, #1, RPI #1. We win the Big Ten by 3 games. #1 Net Rating. +21.0 PPG, +10.0 RBs, -4.6 TOs (11.1). Moor leads us with 18.2 PPG, 4.5 assists. Rudd gets 16.4 and 8.2 RBs.

3/5: OUCH!!! Moor, Rudd, and Tayy are all going pro. We'd better win it all this year!

3/8: #8 seed Ohio ST, 17-13, 8-12, in the quarters. We won by 4 there, 24 here.

3/9: 86-59. 49-26 at the half. 23, 14 for Rudd, 20, 4, 5 for Moor. +25 RBs, 11 TOs.

Little used sub F/C Matt Dock, hurt a finger. Out 2 weeks.

#5 seed, #14 ranked Illinois, 26-7, 15-5, upset Michigan ST so they're next in the semis.

3/10: 93-64. 56-39 at the half. 22, 16, 5 for Rudd, 19, 7, 4 for Moor. +36 RBs (!), 11 TOs.

#3 seed, #5 ranked Wisconsin, 26-7, 16-4, in the title game. We split a pair. On paper we should win. We'll see.

3/11: 82-73. We led for the last 35 minutes, by as many as 14. 40, 2, 4 for Moor; hell of a game! 5 TOs.

3/12: #1 East and overall. We play #16 seed, UC-Riverside, 17-16.

3 volunteers have dropped out of the program. They said they simply were not interested but wouldn't be more specific. The Kree said they were "unsuitable."

3/16: 85-53. Never close. 17, 14 for Jeng, 18, 4, 3 for Tayy, 15, 4, 5 for Moor. +30 RBs.

#9 seed Vermont, 21-11, in the 2nd round.

3/18: 53-35. They played slowdown. +25 RBs, 10 TOs.

#4 seed, #11 ranked Kansas, 26-10, in the Sweet Sixteen.

3/23: 84-64. They hung in for almost 30 minutes, then a 15-2 run finished them. 30, 2, 4 for Moor, 15, 15, 3 with 6 steals for Rudd. 10 TOs.

#2 seed, #6 ranked conference rival Michigan ST, 27-6, in the Elite Eight. We beat them by 7 and 32.

3/25: 73-66. We led all the way, by as many as 18. 18, 5, 7 for Moor, 11, 13, 8 for Rudd, 15 each for Tayy and File.

6th man F/C Otis Brom hurt his leg but he'll be ready. 3 #1 seeds and a #2 make it to the Final Four. We play #1 seed, #3 ranked Miami. 34-4. We're a big favorite but they're a #1 seed so they're good.

On the other side it's #2 ranked Georgetown, 35-4, vs. #5 ranked Illinois, 30-8.

4/1: 94-55. A blowout! 44-21 at the half. 27, 3, 6 for Moor, 13, 4, 5 for File, 14 each for Rudd and Tayy. +16 RBs, 13 TOs.

#2 ranked Georgetown, 36-4, for the title. We crushed them by 44 at our place in December and we're heavily favored to do it again. I expect a tough game.

4/3: 95-64. Two blowouts in the Final Four! Amazing! And our 2nd title in 3 years. 49-30 at the half. 40, 6, 7 for Final Four MOP Zak Moor. +18 RBs.

The participants in the Kree study have been tested, mentally, physically, and psychologically. They are all physically healthier than when the program began on March 1. They are showing, on average, slightly higher intellect, and we see no psychological issues for anyone. No one else has dropped out since the 3 early dropouts. Anecdotally, participants are saying they are fascinated by the work they are doing.

4/4: Awards: As mentioned Zac Moor was Final Four MOP. I am National COY. In the Big Ten, Rudd made the 1st team and Moor the 2nd, but he should have made 1st.

4/9: I'm staying here.

4/23: I ask for $.

No. 38-2, 19-1, National title. Overall, for 20 seasons, 541-159, .773.

5/1: #1 preseason, #3 recruiting class. We're a little short at guard this season (3 excellent guards went pro). We went small last year; we may go with one guard this year. We'll see.

5/5: Test results on the Kree study participants show all positive results.

6/5: Oli Will, a F/C who would have gotten minutes, transfers. We have lots of slots open. Let's see what the transfer pool looks like.

6/12: We get an SG and an SF. The SG looks very good. The SF needs some developing.

6/26: 3 scholarships. We want at least 2 guards.

7/5: Test results still positive but some opposition seems to be developing. It seems there is a concern that the Kree want to enslave us.

"Mack Reed, we have no need for slaves. Our needs and wants are simple, and our elegant body structure allows us to provide for all of our needs and wants very simply.
We do not accumulate possessions and we have no luxuries. This argument is illogical."

"My people are often illogical but I will use your very eloquent words in my defense of the Kree and this course of study."

8/7: 5 on the Norton list: C Greg Jaxx is #1, PG Jon File #10, PF Hal Joon #27, PF Dan Cary #38, and C Dar Riva #39.

8/21: We offer to 2 PGs and a C.

9/1: Weirdly and in defiance of all reason the opposition to participation in the Kree course of study is expanding, mostly due to fears that it is a means to enslave us. Logical arguments seem to be having no effect. And rumors that the Council is about to mandate the training are rampant. The Council has no such intention and have made numerous statements to that effect.

9/11:We get a C, #2, and a PG, #21. We lose a PG, going after another one.

9/18: We get the PG, #24.

Sunshine Shootout vs. East Carolina. Tough schedule, mostly ranked teams in both pre-conf and conf seasons.

10/2: 1st day of practice. We're going to be very good again this year. I thought losing 4 starters would knock us down. It may, but not by much.

10/14: The Council receives a petition requesting, or more demanding, a referendum on future participation in the Kree training program. In an emergency session the Council votes to hold a referendum on 11/15.

This month's testing of participants in the training program again shows a slight elevation in intellectual ability- memory, problem solving, application skills... a slight uptick in good health, and no issues related to the psychological realm. Participants have very positive things to say about their experience.

11/1: The opposition to the training group is really campaigning hard.

11/13: The season starts tomorrow.

11/14: 72-45 over #14 Georgia Tech at Gampel. 36-17 at the half. 22 for PG Jon File, 13, 13 for C Greg Jaxx, 11, 9 for PF Hal Joon. +24 RBs but a horrible 23 TOs. Here we go again.

11/15: The referendum passes, 18,237-6,048. So it passed by a 3-1 margin, but 6,000 opposed? Ridiculous that so many are opposed.

11/16: The Council announces that the Kree have invited 5.000 participants to begin the training program, and they will begin another 5,000 every 9 months until all who wish to be trained have had the training. I decide to wait a while longer.

11/20: All 3 recruits sign. Ranked #5.

11/21: 68-76 at #1 Butler. Turnovers again, 21. 23, 12 for Jaxx, 21, 6 for File; no one else did much on O. LOTS of fouls called, on both teams, and it came out about even, but there was no flow to the game and many of the calls were related to minor incidents. I got a T late. Ball handling is a real concern so far. I'm going to speed up the O a little to see if that helps.

11/23: 84-50 over Georgetwon at the Civic Center. 43-24 at the half. 26, 18, 4 for Jaxx, 20, 15 for Joon. +24 RBs. 13 TOs, which was good.

We get 12,664 applications to start the next Kree training. We're going to hold a blind draw (computerized).

11/28: 72-58 over Arizona ST at Gampel. 33-21 at the half. 36, 12 for Jaxx, who is a hell of a player. +11 RBs, 15 TOs.

12/1: 83-61 over #18 UCLA at the Civic Center. 48-23 at the half. 30, 5, 4 for File. Jaxx played only 18 minutes due to foul trouble but we managed to overcome that.

Some pretty good bench play by C Dar Riva. +17 RBs, 14 TOs. Three games straight with moderate amount of TOs; better than the 1st 2 games. I guess speeding up helped.

The 2nd group of Kree trainees starts today. The 1st group is 9 months in, with another 15 months to go.

There were demonstrators in front of the building where the Council meets, and where all government functions are performed. The demonstrations were peaceful.

The anti-training crowd aren't going to get what they want but I'm guessing they aren't going away, either.

12/5: 81-55 over #8 Clemson at the Civic Center. We had 51 2nd half points. 30, 13 for Jaxx, 10, 12 for SF Dan Cary. +17 RBs, 12 TOs.

5-1. #5, RPI #1.

Heading for the Sunshine Shootout. We're the #1 seed and we play #8 East Carolina, 3-3.

The peaceful demonstrations continue.

12/9: 75-48. Never a game. 34, 3, 8 for File, 11, 11 for Jaxx, who was in foul trouble most of the night again. 13, 4, 6 for SG Lou More. +17 RBs, 11 TOs.

#5 seed George Washington, 4-3, in the semis.

12/10: 65-54. It was close for more than 30 minutes. 13, 8, 3 for Jaxx, 14, 5 for Cary. 12 TOs. We were a horrible 13-27 from the line.

#3 seed, #25 ranked Alabama, 7-0, for the title.

Sub guard Cal Wagg stretched a calf muscle. He's out for about a week.

12/11: 72-56 and the title. 22, 12 for Jaxx, 13, 4, 7 for File, 10, 10 for Joon. 12 TOs.

12/12: 80-60 over Arizona at the CC. Good 2nd half. 25, 17 for Jaxx, 24, 7 for File. +13 RBs, 10 TOs. We faded at the end. We're tired, 4 games in 4 days and a flight in there before the 4th. Fortunately, we have a week off before the pre-conf finale.

12/19: 81-40 over #24 LSU at Gampel. 50-20 at the half. A triple double for Jaxx, 25 points, 17 RBs, 10 blocks, and 4 assists. Amazing game! +20 RBs, 9 TOs.

10-1, #1, RPI #1. #2 Net Rating (#1 on D but only #33 on O). +20.9 PPG, +14.8 RBs, -0.4 TOs but we're getting better. Jaxx leads us with 21.1, 12.7. File gets 19.1, 4.4 assists. Great 1-2 punch!

The demonstrations continue, and they have expanded to other locations. The signs and chants are about "brainwashing," "becoming slaves," "losing our independence." It would be silly if it weren't so serious.

12/28: 78-55 over Ohio ST at Gampel. Easy win. 31, 16, 5 for Jaxx. +26 RBs.

12/28: (Author's note: 2 games scheduled on the same day. No idea why. In the old days this happened when I changed my non-conf rival at the wrong time. I didn't do that or anything else funky this time)

64-49 at Penn ST. We led all the way. 20, 7 for Jaxx, 12, 8 for Joon. 9 TOs.

1/1/2243: We're playing solid ball. My worry is that we are WAY overdue for a serious injury.

1/2: 75-72 at #2 Michigan ST. Great win! We led for the entire 2nd half. They got it down to three a few times, but no closer. They missed a halfcourt luck shot at the buzzer. 20, 9 for Joon, 13, 5, 9 for File. Jaxx played in foul trouble all night again. It's the one thing he needs to work on but he's young, and it shows sometimes. +12 RBs but 18 TOs, our worst since the 2nd game of the season.

1/4: 88-49 over Minnesota at the CC. 23, 4, 7 for Joon, 16, 12, 3 for Jaxx, 18, 5, 3 for File. +32 RBs, 10 TOs.

A fire in the administrative building. It was set. The robotic firefighters were easily able to determine that as there was an accellerant used. No evidence as to who set

it yet but the obvious suspects are the protesters.

1/6: 75-59 at Maryland. 42-21 at the half. 21, 18, 5 for Jaxx, 14, 4, 6 for File, 15, 7 for Joon. +22 RBs but 19 TOs.

Nothing new on the fire. Robotic guards have been increased on every street in the settlement.

1/13: 64-60 at #2 Michigan. The 2nd #2 ranked team we beat on the road this season! 20 lead changes, 13 ties. We scored the last 4 points, on free throws, which are our weakness. We went 13-26. But we were 4-4 at the end. 17, 6, 3 for File, 15, 3 for Joon. -8 RBs, 14 TOs, but we got the win!

1/16: 78-59 over #2 Michigan ST at the CC. 42-27 at the half. 23, 5, 4 for More, 17, 8 for Joon, 9, 16, 5, 4 steals, 4 blocks for Jaxx. +25 RBs.

17-1, 7-0, alone in 1st. #1, RPI #1.

The new Kree trainees are testing almost exactly the way the first group did at this stage.

1/20: 83-47 over Penn ST at Gampel. 2nd half was 56-26. 24, 3, 3 for File, 17, 10 for Jaxx, 18, 4, 3 for Joon, 14, 6 for Riva, our 6th man. +16 RBs, 12 TOs.

2 robots were found dismantled and destroyed this morning. This is not an easy thing to do. Our robots have defense mechanisms that make attacking them all but impossible. Whoever did this has very, very deep knowledge of our robots and of how they are put together and how they function. There are not more than 20-25 people in the settlement who have this level of knowledge. An investigation has begun. There is little doubt that the attack was perpetrated by the "no training" people.

1/25: 78-46 at Nebraska. 40-17 at the half. 31 for File. +16 RBs, 11 TOs.

1/30: 66-51 over #10 Indiana at the CC. 42-21 at the half. 22, 18 for Jaxx, 12, 13 for Joon. +24 RBs.

Jaxx is #7, File #20 on the Norton list.

We have a 2 game lead on three teams in the Big Ten.

3 more robots destroyed. We are investigating the 22 people who we believe have the ability to sabotage our robots in this way. I privately suggested to Darma that we consider having drones follow each of the 22. This violates our laws but this is an extreme case. She is thinking it over. Neither of us wants to bring the idea to the Council because we think there is at least one member who is on the side of the no-trainers. There may be more than one.

2/3: 83-63 at Illinois. 44-25 at the half. 30, 12 for Jaxx, 18, 10 for Joon. +18 RBs.

Sub guard Cal Wagg hurt his arm. Out for about a week.

We have eliminated 17 people of the 22 suspected of destroying robots. We have not used drones... yet.

2/6: 59-57 at Ohio ST. They led by 12 early, 9 at the half. It went back and forth in the last few minutes. We had it last, got it to File, and he worked behind a pick
set by Jaxx at the high post and nailed a 15 footer with less than a second to play. 20 TOs hurt us.

We feel that 2 men and a woman are the architects of the destruction of our robots. They are all being watched closely, by robots. When they leave their residential buildings the robots on the street follow them and keep them on video. As they pass to the next street the robots there pick them up on camera. They are only out of view when within a building and we are considering monitoring them there as well.

2/7: We missed our chance. The biology lab in the building where one of our three suspects works was all but destroyed by fire during the night. Again, accelerants were used. We have no proof regarding the perpetrator but our three suspects will be under constant surveillance from now on, including inside their residences, which will be equipped with hidden cameras and microphones while they are at work today.

2/10: 85-62 over Maryland at the CC. 51-25 at the half. 19, 12 for Jaxx, 17, 8 for Joon, 20, 2, 3 for More. A near triple double for File, 9, 9, 10. +22 RBs but 18 TOs.

Greg Jaxx is #4 on the Norton list.

We haven't caught any of our suspects yet but given that they are being watched on a full time basis, it's a matter of time.

2/13: 91-58 over Rutgers at Gampel. 22, 7 for Jaxx, 19, 11 for Joon, 19, 4, 7 for File. +30 RBs.

24-1, 14-0. #1, RPI #1. 2 up on Michigan ST, 3 on Indiana and Purdue, 6 or more over the rest.

We believe that our suspects are aware that they are being monitored.

2/17: 65-54 over Illinois at the CC. We led all the way. 19, 9 for Jaxx. +18 RBs.

2/20: 81-63 at Iowa. We led all the way. 18, 13, 5 for Jaxx, 14, 2, 9 for File, 14, 7 for Cary.

4 to play, all against ranked teams, 2 on the road.

Nothing new with the no training crowd. We believe they know they're being watched.

2/24: 79-45 over #13 Michigan at the CC. 46-15 in the 2nd half. 22, 9, 3 for Jaxx, 15, 12 for Riva, 12, 10, 5 for File.

Wagg hurts his elbow. Day to day.
