Goal: Be the Head Coach at Syracuse and win the NCAA Championship
Why Syracuse? Growing up on the Canada/U.S. border, I had many American friends, most of them were Syracuse fans. We lived about 3 hours from Syracuse. I only started watching college basketball during the 2003 March Madness. I remember coming out here to Halifax, where I live now, to check out Saint Mary's University. On my way back to Ontario, I stayed at a hotel and it was the championship night! Syracuse Orange vs Kansas! Carmelo Anthony and Gerry McNamara were key guys for the team. I had watched most of their tournament games up to then. 81-78 win over Kansas! Although they've only won 1 championship, they've been able to make it to the NCAA tournament on a consistent basis. Every time I've played the College Hoops games, I always choose Syracuse, even though I only watch their games if they're in the tournament.

Why UNH Wildcats? I wanted to start this journey with one of the lowest prestige programs and somewhere in the Northeast.
Format: I simulate games throughout the season and episodes cover an in-game month (or the whole offseason). When it comes to playoff tournament games, I like play them out and do some coaching. I will skip over some stuff and just give an overview report on things I've done offline rather than bore you with all the recruiting calls I make. When it comes to stats and awards, I pretty much stick to my current conference standings and the national media polls. If you want to see stats for another school, let me know and I might be able to get it into an episode (I've recorded 2 seasons already, so it might be in a later video).
