11/25: 74-69 at Alabama A & M. We were down 14 early, down 6 at the half. Balanced scoring, +11 RBs. Too many TOs, but that's true just about every game.

The vaccine is supposed to be just days away from approval. It will take some time to get it manufactured and transported everywhere, so estimated date to be ready for use worldwide is January 2.

11/29: 60-47 at Alcorn ST. We led all the way. C Tim Pilk had 15, 19, 4. Ateo had 19.

Jab Moore, Bench Coach: Coach Blake has the virus. He's not doing well. I've been with him since his 2nd season at UMass-Lowell and he's become a good friend. Frankly, I'm really worried.

12/1: Jab Moore: Coach is worse.

12/2: 84-60 at Texas-San Antonio.

Jab Moore: I coached the team tonight. It was an easy win. 22, 12 for Pilk, 20, 10, 3 for Shin, 12, 3, 11 for Colt. +27 RBs, but 20 TOs.

Coach is not doing well at all.

12/4: Boston Globe: Coach Jackson (Jax) Blake, head coach of the UMass Minutemen, died of Covid 50 tonight. He had been ill for only a few days. His team is expected to have a great season and was off to a 5-1 start. His career record is 159-68, .700. Bench Coach Jabari (Jab) Moore will serve as Interim Coach for the remainder of the season.
