I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech!

When I was in high school, this niche world of "Dynasty Reporting" occupied a lot of my time. I spent countless hours on a site called Dynasty Central; there we would host "Dynasties" on an HTML-supported platform and could enjoy other people's work through a rating system and a community forum.
As time would pass, the community would fade. It seems with each AAA iteration of major sports titles, the "dynasty" or "franchise" mode aspects seemed to be taking a backseat to online microtransaction play, and maybe that had a lot to do with it. I personally found myself enjoying less and less the "exploitation of artificial intelligence tendencies", and somehow my love for sports management and sports media faded away (at the time, mom also said NO to studying either in post-secondary). After years of tinkering around in OOTP and Football Manager, it all sort of stopped day-by-day.
The one game I stuck with for several years was Eastside Hockey Manager. I was part of an excellent online league for about 5 years until the numbing of adulthood turned that hobby into work which I could not balance. And that too, would fade.
Now, here I am in my 30s. And I found you guys! And over the past few weeks, I've spent some time reading other content (major shoutout @PointGuard), going through some of the game features......and I'm back, baby. I'm back!! I missed the left-brain problem solving of sports sims. I missed the right-brain therapy outlet of creating fake sports content. I missed the beautiful smashing of that left and right brain together! And this is the result.
Thanks to Wolverine for all your efforts developing this extremely quality title. I'm having a blast.
So here's what I'm up to in DDSCF23. I am totally new to this franchise, and I've mostly just dove right in without too much test-time. I am ready to lose. And I'm ready to talk about it!
