Alliance of American Football...

Postby Skycast » Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:10 am

Looking to start a new AAF league and wanted to gauge interest. My plan is to prepare the league files over the holidays and hopefully fill up the teams. For those not aware, the AAF (or simply the Alliance) is a new spring league kicking off in 2019 the weekend after the Super Bowl is played. It's geared more as a complimentary/developmental league to the NFL.

https://aaf.com/

Anyway, eight teams and the actual league will play 10 games, I'll be use the UFL model from the game...8 teams, 14 games and I will be running the San Diego fleet. The league is...

East
Atlanta Legends - TheMajorSupreme
Birmingham Iron - Bioeagle
Memphis Express - Skelter
Orlando Apollos - Tyrone the Calzone

West
Arizona Hotshots - Tigerman
Salt Lake Stallions
San Antonio Commanders - Rumrunner
San Diego Fleet - Skycast

Any takers?

Suggested which? The league format? To me playing 14 games instead of 10 in a simulation league isn't a big deal...we work with what we have.

Right now the AAF is having a series of mini-camps with preseason camps starting up in the new year. I'm going to wait to get a little more information on the rosters as I want to add some of the key players to each team. So likely sometime in late January to early February.

Rumrunner is working up some sweet league graphics for us to use.
