1. For Defensive Plays what is flat supposed to do? I have tried Flat on different positions and it appears to make the Safeties or Linebackers travel down the Y Axis in a Zone until the player reads run or an offensive player enters the zone. This is some what helpful in one scenario because you can use the FS to double the outside WR below him. But players higher up on the Y Axis like SS or LOLB will not move towards the higher sideline, they will travel down towards the middle of the field so there is no way to double the upper outside receiver with custom plays. Does not seem to be working as intended. Are they supposed to defend the closest sideline in zone or actually go to their respective flat?
2. For Defensive Plays what happens if you use the not set options? My assumption is for Scheme Focus you will not receive a bonus or penalty if you guess incorrectly, but what about for coverage type, and linebacker role?
3. For Defensive Plays what is the difference between selecting True or False, what is the difference between selecting the formation or having the formation not set?
4. For plays in general are their penalties or bonuses associated with playing out of coaches scheme or style?
5. For offensive plays are their penalties or bonuses associated with designing out of scheme? Example if I choose Shotgun Spread will their be a bonus to short routes or penalty to deep routes. Likewise if I choose Shotgun vertical will there be bonuses for long routes and penalties for short routes?
Edit:
Actually had a few more things pop into my head.
6. If you design a run with multiple runners as an options is the ball carrier chosen at random or is their some kind of intelligence roll for the best option?
7. If you design a pass with HB taking a run option does that have a chance to fool defenders into thinking it is a run play?
