Draft Targets???

Newbie question I suppose - I've been simulating most areas to become familiar with the game, and now I've found a area I cant figure out. I auto assigned the points for the draft, now I went back and checked some reports on the players. I found a couple of 1st rounders have 50's under talent for their position, while some later round players are high eighties or nineties but the auto assignment didn't pick them to interview or scout??? And now really killing me is I clicked on the draft targets and I cant find ANYWHERE to remove or change them like I did in the draft page!! Any Ideas what I'm missing?
