DDS vs FOF8

Hi

I am a long time FOF8 player but as anyone who plays FOF they know SP is way to easy. I am looking for a challenging SP game so can you give me your views how hard SP is please and also if there are any glaring holes in the game.

Same with FOF in my opinion. The AI can be made to be harder as far as GMing goes, bidding hard on good players and drafting better, but in the end good game planning makes it easy to beat the AI regularly.

Truth is, I doubt you'll ever find a game where the AI is so tough that makes it interesting. All games like this and FOF are made to be played against human opponents. That's where the real challenge lies.

Thanks Zootmurp, i agree MP is better but some times i just want to play all day while other days you finish work and don't want to play or your busy and that can be for a few days running. I know your name from FOF Zootmurp so can i ask you how you'd compare the two games at MP then, thanks?

Unfortunately someone over on the FOF site has said the AI salary cap management is out of wack in DDS:PF 2020. I don't know if this is true or not, as I have been hearing good things but have yet to take the plunge. If the AI salary cap is not working well, it kind of ruins the single player experience....at least for me.

There was an issue with the cap in public beta, but that was resolved. If there is another issue, I haven’t seen it reported.

Interesting. Maybe it was after the demo was released. The issue that was reported back then was fixed. If there is something else with the cap, I don’t think it was reported.

I haven’t played FOF in a while, so can’t speak to comparisons. The demo is a great route though. Two seasons worth of play through.

He said that after the draft, all or most teams were 400 million over the salary cap.

Absolutely never seen that. I’ll have to leave that for others to say, but I’ve done numerous sims and never had that happen.
