For playoffs it was left untouched since no-ties is what you want there.

If there is enough interest in adding a modified sudden death with unlimited quarters and no ties, we can look at adding that in a future version.

My league has used that unlimited quarters with no ties for the post-season for our past 7 seasons, so I would definitely like that option to be back in the game if its not going to be there anymore.

We use "One extra quarter" in the regular season and "Unlimited quarters (no ties)" for the playoffs.

No changes were made to any of the other formats... just modified sudden death for non-playoffs games

Just to clarify, is the unlimited quarters (no ties) option in the playoffs sudden death or do both teams get a possession? Basically I’m looking for the one that mirrors the NFL playoffs rules?

Modified sudden death gives both team a possession.

Modified sudden death is the modern one where teams both have a chance to score.
Sudden Death means they keep playing until a team scores.

I will fix it so that Modified Sudden Death allows ties... it should only be going one more quarter.

I brought this up months ago, I thought modified allowed tie's.

Still got a problem here, Brooks - with Overtime format for playoff games, the middle option which reads, and correctly so, during the regular season as "Modified Sudden Death". This is confusing bc the choice for Overtime in Playoff games should explicitly state "Allows No Ties" in the label, just like the other two options.
So this - Playoff OT Format should give these options -
"Sudden Death(No Ties)"
"Modified Sudden Death(No Ties)"
""Unlimited Quarters(No Ties)"

I'm not sure what to use now to mirror the NFL in everything.
