Change Free Agent to Next Draft Player

I'm trying to figure out how to change a Free Agent into a player to be drafted next season and vice versa. I don't see any differencec in the exported CSV file, but in the game the difference appears to be the "Status" field - it's blank for Next Season players, "OK" for current Free Agents.
Can you make this editable in-game, so that we can switch players back and forth?
Failing this, how can we make this change outside the game?

If you import into Free Agency or Active Players they will be free agents. If you import into the draft class then they will be draftees. There is no way to move them back and forth. I suggest removing draft members from your CSV and creating a separate one.
