General Manager contract question

Hi all and Brooks,

Quick question. When setting up a new career mode game, do I need to set the contract and the years for my own GM? Cause if I don't and leave it at 0, I'm done after my 1st year and I don't get a contract renewal from the owner or anything?

Are there owners in this game where they evaluate my performance and give me a contract extension or fire me? I didn't see this option anywhere.

Yea, basically if you check the can't be fired it sets the contracts at 99 years or something like that so you never have to pick a new team. If you don't check that option you need to set the number of years for your initial contract. If you ever do run out of contract or get fired you'll be asked to pick a new team to run.
