Unable to edit Names in Game?

So I'm still in the new league setup. I have to bypass the league and coach setup to access Options. But all the name change options are locked? I can't edit Conference, Division or Team names? That can't be right so obviously I'm missing something but this should be editable during setup right? I don't have to open a database and edit the coding for the game so can someone help me figure this out? #AlreadyNotIntuitive

You can't change conf or div names in some formats since they're used for scheduling purposes. Team names are changed by going into Team Info.
