Just downloaded the demo but it's looking for a license key?

You should be able to click the button for "Try" to get into the demo without a license.

Unfortunately I don't even get to the main screen - the qlmlicensewizard comes up when I click on the game - i can't get to the main screen?

There is a Try button in the wizard.
