Cap and minumum salaries

Cap and minumum salaries

Postby Thefatcat » Wed Oct 09, 2019 1:02 pm

Playing in the CSFL online league and the cap is $127m

Minimum salaries have been changed to the following;

Overall 60+ $350k
Overall 70+$1m
Overall 80+ $2.5m
Overall 90+ $3.5m
Overall 95+ $4m

What we are seeing is anyone over 70 plus overall is asking $3m to $5m to resign which seems very high when 70's are not i guess studs and we only have a $127m cap

So my question Mr Brookes would be does raising the Minimum salary expectations mean players will want a higher salary for renewal than when the minimum salary was $600k, i hope that makes sense. Thanks

In some cases they're asking for salaries that other comparable players are getting. In other cases they're looking at up to 30% of the max salary. So if you have a really high max salary it brings all of the requests up.

thank you.

So for instance lets say you change the rosters and make a 70 overall HB earn $4m then the all the other 70 rated HBs are likely to ask for $4m.
