Trade Player fail

Hi. When I make a trade that involves a player and a pick for a player. The pick transfers, but my player stays on roster.

this sounds weird, not something we have encountered before. Is it happening consistently or is it just for that one player?

I've just started a new game and haven't attempted it as yet.
But it was consistent in my last one and that spanned 30+ years and each time my player would stay on roster and I would have to release him.

hmm, ok, maybe the trade takes the other team over the salarycap or something that makes it balk.

If it happens consistently in your new game as well, save the game before a trade and let us know, then we can use your savegame to look into it.
