Can we pls have the capability of seeing, instead of solely defensive-themed statistics like Passes defensed, tackles, etc, but also the cumulative passing and rushing statistics opponents have against a particular team's defense? In other words, if I go look at the staff and the defensive coordinator, then his associated statistics, it makes no sense to show the team's offensive passing statistics.
Instead, show the cumulative total passing yards all the QB's the team's defense have faced sp far have put up, along with the number of passing touchdowns allowed, interceptions made, and opp QB rating, all of that. That would make much more sense. Then the corresponding cumulative opponent rushing statistics. THis is how it is normally presented on statistical websites like pro-football-reference.com, or at least that info is readily available. I cannot find anywhere those stats are clearly shown.
Example -
When you go to defensive coaches associated statistic screen, it could show a typical pass stat sheet-
Comp Att Yards Pct Lg TD Int Att/G Yds/G TD% Int%
94 169 1173 55.6% 64 8 3 33.8 234.6 4.7 1.8
But in this case, those wouldn't be the QB of the team's stats, instead it would indicate that the defense had allowed 94 completions on opponent QB's 169 total pass attempts against the team's defense thus far in the season, and the d had allowed 8 passing tds on the season and had taken away 3 interceptions, etc.
Just thought I'd make what I was suggesting as clear as possible. This would also allow much easier self-scouting or for an upcoming opponent, you could quickly see not just how vulnerable to their pass/run defense or whatever is, but the specifics that you want are immediately accessible.
