This was from an old post of mine forgotten over on the 2018 board - glad I found it though bc I really like these ideas, if I do say so myself! ;)

First off, I think the whole Trait idea is a really novel idea that could be expanded and enriched to really give this game something I don't think any other football simulation is doing, and allows another avenue to reflect real life football more accurately.

* CLUTCH - Brady
* CHOKER - Manning

and, taking this initial idea a step further -
* PLAYOFF PERFORMER - give this to your Joe Montana simulation, or maybe Larry Fitzgerald when you run your 2008 NFL season

I can't take credit for this last one, from Tigerman -
* LONGSNAPPER - a center or tight end who excels at long snaps. All teams have one in the NFL.

Here's another one I would REALLY like to see in the game -

BreakawayRunner-
A running back who often breaks big runs. I think this could be really important bc Yards/att def don't tell the whole story.
There are RB's like Ezekiel Elliot, who has a high, near 5 yds/carry average, but rarely breaks anything longer than 20/30 yards(these days, at least).
In contrast, there's a runner like Saquon Barkely, who has about the same yards/carry as Elliott, but much of his yardage comes in long TD runs, esp as compared to Ezekiel Elliot
