PLayoff seedings/tiebreakers

Is there somewhere that show what tiebreakers in playoff seedings are?

I have two teams with the same record within a division fighting for a wildcard spot. They split the head-to-head matchups...but that team that had the better division record (and conference record) got beat out by the other team?

Were there three teams that tied? That would trigger three way head to head kind of matchups. Otherwise it's wins, division wins, conference wins, then points for, then random coin flip.

Three teams were tied for the final (#6) Wildcard slot for the United Conference.
So, if I have my tiebreakers correct, Los Angeles should have been in and San Diego and Cleveland out.
What am I missing?

Southwest Division
Los Angeles 11-7 Division 7-1 Conference 9-4 Week-1: SD 23 @ LA 29(W) • Week-16: LA 7(L) @ SD 25
San Diego 11-7 Division 5-3 Conference 7-6 Week-1: SD 23(L) @ LA 29 • Week-16: LA 7 @ SD 25(W)

North Division
Cleveland 11-7 Division 5-3 Conference 9-4 Week-9: CLE 33(W) @ LA 20 • Week-11: SD 31 @ CLE 26(L)

So, because LA and SD split, but San Diego beat Cleveland and LA lost to Cleveland, San Diego gets the last spot?
