Confused about how to set up online league.

I'm trying to follow the guide to set up an online league for me and a friend. So far I've been able to set up the ftp settings and can successfully connect using the test option in game. However, I don't know how to set up the url. I'm also unsure i even have everything typed in correctly. I'm using infinity free ftp server. Here's what I have so far.

server(Is this even right): ftpupload.net
remote directory: /league
web root(This is what I really don't understand)
and of course my username and password for the ftp site.

Web hosting usually has multiple components...

ftp server is where you're connecting: ftp.example.com
the remote directory is where on the server you want the files placed: /league or /wwwroot/league depending on how your web host is set up
the web root is your full web url: www.example.com/league

Ok so I have it set up to ftpupload.net/htdocs/league and have the files uploaded there but it gives me the url must be pointing to a bin file message when I try to connect. Am I suppose to do anything with the html settings on the left?

When you publish your league file it should go into htdocs/league and your url would be http://ftpupload.net/htdocs/league/yourleaguename.com or http://ftpupload.net/league/yourleaguename.com depending on how the url maps to your folder structure.

I'm so close! I got it to try and load the league but now it says the bin file in my documents folder isn't readable as a zip file? I can upload and download from the ftp server if I load the game locally.

edit: Now I can't load it locally because of the same issue.

that normally happens if the file gets corrupted or not fully uploaded... you'd have to revert back to your .bak file and see if the backup will load. The game is set up so that once you get FTP to connect you only need to load from the url when loading the league and hit publish to upload the file. You shouldn't need to do anything with ftp programs afterwards (unless you're uploading other site related files)
