Pistol Formation - New Formation?
Posted: Tue Jul 21, 2020 11:24 amI would like to advocate adding the Pistol Offense to the game. You see a lot more of this formation on Sundays.
I know there is mention of adding players shifts to the game, but can we add a couple of pistol formations.
Maybe one with 3WR/1TE or 4WRs, and one with 1FB, and 3WRs or something like that.
An easier way to possibly do this is add a feature to move RB placement. Like being able to move him to left, right, or behind the QB.
Then maybe a feature to choose whether the QB is under center, in the shotgun, or in the pistol.
I think these things would open up play creation a little more. If you had DEPTH OF QB and RB PLACEMENT as play creation options you don't have to have as many formations in the game. These simple placement rules would add more variations to formations.
Not sure how easy this would be to implement, just thinking of ways to expand the play creation/playbooks.
