Draft

I noticed the draft must be started and finished in one sitting... is there really no way to go back to a previous screen after having already started the draft???

That is correct - during the draft you visit the war room to view rosters, contracts, make trades etc...there is no reason to view other screens during it.

There is in a multiplayer game, though...

In a multiplayer game only the commissioner can run the draft so he's entering the picks for everyone and the draft would be held either offline or with everyone logged into their copy of the game and they would not be in the draft screen and could navigate to any screen they wanted.

Regardless its not even possible to change how it works - the game is not done in forms that can just be pulled up and piled on top of each other so leaving one screen would completely wipe out the info and whatever was going on with that screen

Fair enough. Where can I find instructions to export draft order and draft players (this is the inaugural draft still)?

There is not a way to export the draft order - you can just tell owners what that will be and you can set it up any way you like prior to the draft starting so determine it however you want ahead of time and then enter that order in once you go to the fantasy draft screen.

As for players the easiest and best thing is to have the owners just open up the league and use the Search page - all of the players will be listed there and they can go through them all. There is a HTML page you can generate called FantasyDraft.html that you can post or distribute as well but it would be much easier to look at the players in the game

Okay, the draft order I can understand.. but the players cannot be exported?? Its going to be really difficult keep up with the draft without players being removed from a list. Is there no export csv option?

The draft has to be run in one setting so you can't like enter one round and then do some kind of export or something and save the game and come back later and do it. Much like the college draft you need to run the draft outside of the game and then just use the game to enter the results through the draft as commissioner.

In the commissioner office you can dump all players to a database file. You could always open that with something like SQLite Studio and then copy and paste the info from there into Excel if you want (or at least put the info you want shown to the owners if you don't want potentials etc in there)

Players can also print out the HTML page with the player list and ratings and cross them off as picks are made

The guy who wrote the User Manual is in my league and he mentioned something about importing drafts? Can this be done with the inaugural draft??
